Barcelona’s star player Lionel Messi is at the centre of a scandal after he was accused of defrauding the Spanish tax authorities of 4 million Euro. The Argentinian player has been accused of filing fraudulent tax returns between 2007 and 2009. If he’s found guilty the Barca player faces a possible prison sentence of between two and six years and a large fine.
