POLICE INVESTIGATE THE DEATH OF AN ELDERLY MAN IN CASARES DEL SOL

A police investigation has begun into the death of an elderly man whose body was found in the Casares del Sol urbanisation on Wednesday. Local police from Casares received a call from a resident at the urbanisation around 2.30 in the afternoon who requested help in dealing with the funeral process. They found the body of an 88 year old man on a bed in a room covered with a white sheet. The police also found two elderly people who were taken to the Costa del Sol Hospital. The police called in the Judicial Police who have begun an investigation with a judge from Estepona. They are investigating the possibility that the elderly people were living in a clandestine residence or whether they were renting the rooms. Police discovered that there were two adjoining rooms that had been connected . They found  an old man who was in poor health and an elderly woman who apparently had a broken hip. Another elderly woman was said to be in a healthy condition. The two people were removed to hospital.
