The Provinicial Government in Malaga has hit Casares with more budget cuts. The Town Hall has received this year 330,000 Euro

That's only 37 per cent of the money they were allocated in previous years. And the Town Hall must also pay 24,000 Euro towards the Provincial Plan of Assistance and Co-operation, which affects all municipalities. The largest portion of this year's allocation, 207,000 Euro is being spent on infrastructure in the three parts of the municipality - the pedestrian connections with the coast, the football field and the Youth House in Secadero. The remainder will go to cultural and sports activities.
