be shared out and the guide to complete them.
The
Town Hall organizes a lecture about forest fires which will take place next Wednesday,
May the 8th at 17:00 h at Casa de la Cultura in Casares.
It
is addressed to the population in Casares, and especially to the people who
have rural properties, and to foreign residents. This lecture will be
translated by an English translator.
The
lecture will be done by the Provincial Infoca Chief, Miguel Angel Catalino, The
Secretary of the Association for Forest Defense in Casares, Rosario Loring, and
workers from the Town’s Environmental Department, which organizes this lecture
along with the Delegación Provincial de la Consejería de Agricultura, Pesca y
Medio Ambiente de la Junta de Andalucía.
During
this lecture they are going to talk about the Association for Forest Defense,
about Fire Prevention Plans and about Autoprotection Plans, which are more
focused on buildings and rural houses as well as the people who live in them.
In
relation with the Autoprotection Plans, the Town Hall has sent recently a
letter to inform about the importance of doing them to the owners of rural
properties. Besides, the Town’s Environmental Department is going to share out
a simplified application of Autoprotection plans and a guide to complete them
by the neighbors. Those papers will be in Spanish and English.
The
Town Hall asks to all the concerned people to come to this lecture because the
Autoprotection Plans are mandatory for all the owners of rural buildings
according to the Regional Laws about forest fires.
