CASARES HIRES FIVE WORKERS FROM THE UNEMPLOYMENT REGISTER

Casares Town Hall this week hired five people from the local unemployment register to carry out new work contracts. Two bricklayers and three labourers will begin work next Monday on a number of projects, including work at Dona Julia, refurbishment of locals at Casares del Sol and the old  Secretary’s House. The latest hirings show the Town Hall’s commitment to tackling unemployment and in April there was a record number of hirings, 24 in all. That brings to 64 the number of unemployed people who have been taken by the Town Hall since last November. Five young people have also been taken on for the paid student internship programme.
