Voting Citizens

The neighbours from Casares will decide which works they prefer to be done. Votes can be casted on friday march 22, 10 to 14 h and from 17 to 19 hours.

The polls are installed in the Plaza España in Casares, in the Plaza of Paz in Secadero, and in the town hall in Casares Costa.

The proposed works which are in the historical district are: the second phase of multipurpose room, which will host the youth house and the dance school, Llano improving power, and the
renovation of the Arenales.

El Secadero: The creation of a trail urban, expansion sotocolorado park, or shadow facility in Peace Plaza.

Neighbours of Casares Costa will can choose between the first phase of the City Nursery, multipurpose hall in "Casares Del Sol", and the provision of an area of shadow on the beach
.

Tomorrow will be cloudy with some showers and a high of 17 degrees and a low of 10 , and Sunday will again be cloudy with some showers early in the day and a high of 17 and a low of 11.

Cyprus has been given an ultimatum for next Monday to put in place a bailout package to prevent the island economy from going bankrupt. The European Central Bank has promised 10 billion Euro but the Government must find an extra six billion after the parliament rejected stringent levies on bank deposits. Russia has said it is not interested in a package that would help rescue the Cyprus economy.

Councillor Juan Jesus Rodriguez has contacted the authority for beaces on the Costa to request the redistribution of sand which has been lost because of winter storms and recent heavy rains. He said the intention is to redistribute sand from Playa Ancha to areas which have been affected by the rain.

CASARES WANTS TO TAKE OVER BRIDGE PROJECT ON CASARES COSTA


A bridge project linking La Perla and the Casares del Mar urbanisation may be taken over by Casares Town Hall. The council has requested the relevant authority for permission to take over the project because of the inability of the Department of the Environment to carry out the work. Councillor Juan Jesus Rodriguez said that the original project was very ambitious with a budget of over three million Euro and plans to link Casares Costa and Estepona. He said that the new plan is to take over the project and to link it with Casares Costa.
