The former Director General
of the BBC Greg Dyke is to take over the post of Chairman of the Football
Assocation in July. The 65 year old who is a keen football fan will take over
from David Bernstein who is standing down this summer. He faces major challenges
with ensuring England's World Cup future, dealing with racism in the sport and
with foreign owners of England's Premier League teams.
