UNEMPLOYMENT CONTINUES TO FALL IN CASARES AND THROUGHOUT MALAGA PROVINCE

 

Unemployment fell by 30 in Casares in August, the seventh consecutive decline this year and the best figure for August since 2010. There were 417 jobless in the town last month, that's 83 less than at the same time last year. The number out of work in Estepona also fell by 212 last month, that's a drop of 560 compared to last year and leaving a total of  6,551 out of work. The decline in unemployment was also reflected in Manilva where it dropped by 52 with a total of 1,192 out of work. Malaga province is leading the way nationwide in the fall in unemployment with over three thousand less people signing on the dole, but the total still stands at over 190,000.
