Britain' s Prime Minister David Cameron has announced
that the country is to provide 52 million pounds in aid for victims of the
Syrian civil war. He made the announcement at a G 20 summit in St Petersburg
where there was no agreement among the world' s powers on how to deal with the
recent chemical attacks which have been blamed on the Syrian government. Russia
has despatched another warship to the Mediterranean as tensions rise over the
Syrian conflict.
