The US Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov are continuing talks in Geneva aimed at securing a deal over Syria's chemical weapons arsenal. The talks come after Syrian President Assad said his government would sign up to a convention banning the use of chemical weapons. The Assad regime is reported to have already killed hundreds of civilians in chemical attacks during the two year long civil war.
