RADIO CASARES LAUNCHES NEW INITIATIVE TO HELP THE UNEMPLOYED

A new initiative launched by Radio Casares this week to help the unemployed advertise their skills has already received coverage on Canal Sur, the Andalucian television station. The TV show carried a report from the Radio Casares studio yesterday showcasing the new platform for the unemployed. A reporter and camera crew interviewed some of the Casarenos who have been using the radio station to advertise their work experience and skills. The TV reporter also interviewed Radio Casares Director Ana Gonzalez de Leito. Following the coverage, Radio Casares received calls from Antequera, San Pedro and Casares about the jobs on offer. Communications Councillor Juan Luis Villalon welcomed the new platform for the unemployed on the radio station and said it was part of the overall campaign by the Council to combat unemployment. The platform will be broadcast several times each day and will include an advertising campaign advising the unemployed how to utilise the radio slots.
