Four new
interns signed contracts this week with the Town Hall for three month periods
working in different municipal offices. The programme is a paid placement
contract where the interns work 25 hours a week in various municipal offices.
Mayor Antonia Morera explained that the the internships are an initiative off
the Town Hall aimed at giving work experience to under 35's who have higher
education as well as providing them with paid employment. Young people who wish
to avail of the internships must be registered with the Town Hall for at least
six months , have a college degree and be registered with the Andalucian
Employment Service.
