More than 500 children started their courses in the colleges of Casares this week. 350 students started at the Blas Infante college which has seen an increase in students for the fourth year in a row. 167 students started at Los Almendros following the completion of extension works. At the Blas Infante college there are thirty teaching staff, with two on sick leave. In Secadero where 167 students started this week, the completion of the extension works was eagerly awaited. This is 16 more than last year. Casares Town Hall has continued the policy of distributing free textbooks to students which began in 2000.
