PEOPLES PARTY COUNCILLORS IN CASARES DENOUNCED FOR SLANDER

Peoples Party councillors in Casares have been denounced for alleged slander by the Town Hall. Four councillors from the PP have been called to the court of instruction number 2 in Estepona to answer the charges. Peoples Party spokesman Javier Quero said the complaint arose from a special meeting where  a request of compensation of more than 100,000 Euro for local police officer Antonio Natera. The Town Hall did not pay this without authorisation. Javier Quero has also requested that the Governing Team at the Town Hall who brought the charges should resign. But Casares Mayor Antonia Morera has  already said she will not resign.
