NEW HIKING TRAIL OPENED BY BRITISH RESIDENT IN CASARES

A British resident has worked with Casares Town Hall to produce a new guide to various walking trails in Casares. The guide, Casares Walks, contains directions for 22 routes, including directions which can be followed on GPS and there also explanatory videos available on YouTube. Simon Mainwaring is the man behind the new guide and this week it was unveiled at a ceremony in the town where Simon was thanked by Tourism Councillor Pepe Carrasco for his work.  The guide is available in five langauages and aims to attract walkers from other European countries. Simon has said the project should help stimulate local tourism in the Casares area.
