A spectacular flashmob dance will be held in Casares next month. Over 300 people are expected to take part in the event which is being organised by the Municipal School of Dance and which will take place on April 29th to mark the Day of Dance. Students at the school have been provided with a video showing the steps involved in the dance and allowing them to practice at home and at school. The flashmob will test students from Casares, Casares Costa and Secadero and their flamenco skills. Flashmob were popularised in the United States and involve large groups of dancers who assemble without warning in a public place, perform their routine and then disperse.
