The grant was for 20 per cent of the total IBI bill up to a maximum of 200 Euro. Councillor Rodriguez said the total cost to the council of over 154,000 Euro had not affected municipal services. Local residents have also benefited from a 15 per cent reduction in the catastral value of their property.
