MAYOR SIGNS AGREEMENT FOR REMODELLING OF THE PLAZA DEL LLANO

Mayor Antonia Morera this week signed an agreement with the representative of Public Works and Housing at the Junta de Andalucia for subsidising work on the remodelling of the Plaza del Llano. The project has a budget of around 200,000 Euro and will involve changing the square and linking it with the Marcelino Camacho square. The Ayuntamiento has been working on funding for the work for over a year and this week the Junta has agreed to fund 80 per cent of the work, while the Ayuntamiento will fund the remaining 20 per cent. The project will involve a total remodelling of the traffic lay out which will mean fewer vehicles in the square.
