The summer season is officially underway on the beaches at Casares

The lifeguard service is operating from June 29th until September 1st between the hours of 12 noon and 8 o' clock in the evening. The service keeps an eye on swimmers and also places warning flags and assistance for anyone in distress. Two new beach services are available on the Casares Costa - the dog beach and the beach library. The council has opened a temporary  car parking facility for beach users at Marina de Casares next to the tennis courts. While there have been no reports of jellyfish this year, a network of observers has been put in place to give advance warning.
