In Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood has said it will not join an interim cabinet to replace President Morsi who was ousted in a military coup last week. The Brotherhood has called for an uprising against the military following the killing of more than 50 people by soldiers on Monday. The transitional regime has promised elections early next year.
