EIGHTEEN PEOPLE HAVE BEEN HIRED BY THE AYUNTAMIENTO IN VARIOUS EMPLOYMENT PROJECTS

Eighteen locals have been hired by the Ayuntamiento as part of its commitment to providing municipal employment. Six people have been taken on as cleaning operatives, another six have been hired as part of the over 30’s back to work programme. Four people have also been hired to help run the emergency ambulance service. The councillor for employment Sonia Saborido said that job creation is one of the main priorities of the Town Hall and will continue to be a focus for major employment projects.

FIVE UNEMPLOYED PEOPLE TAKEN ON BY THE AYUNTAMIENTO UNDER EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMME

Five people were taken off the dole this week and hired by the Ayuntamiento as part of the programme of employment for the over 30’s. One bricklayer , two labourers and two cleaners will join the municipal staff from next Monday. The Ayuntamiento plans to hire a total of 11 people from the over 30’s age group for three month contracts with a budget of almost 43,000 Euro. The Andalusian Employment Service has a technical committee which chooses the successful candidates for the positions.
