SIERRA CRESTELLINA CHEESE GOES ON THE MENU AT TOP MARBELLA RESTAURANT

The renowned Sierra Crestellina cheese from Casares is to feature on the menu of a top restaurant in Marbella. The El Lago restaurant has been in existence for fifteen years this year and has had a Michelin Star for ten years.  Now it is to feature a new dish on its menu - suckling goat - which will feature Crestellina cheese. The cheese is produced by the artisan cheesemakers from its herd of goats grazing in the protected natural park of Sierra Crestellina. The new dish is suckling goat payoyo, with smoked cream cheese, Guadalhorce mandarin and vegetable salad with mint. Restaurant El Lago has purchased the cheese directly from the supplier and not from an intermediary.
