TWO FEARED DEAD IN STRAITS OF GIBRALTAR AFTER SAILING FROM ESTEPONA


Two people are feared to have drowned in the Straits of Gibraltar after leaving Estepona on a sailing trip. The two men  were on board a pleasure boat, the Gingel Naget which suffered a leak after leaving Estepona on Friday. The body of Alfonso Hossain was found on Monday about twelve miles from Sotogrande after a major air and sea rescue operation was launched. The search for Miguel Angel Melon, a native of Galicia, was called off on Tuesday. The missing man's wife, who  normally lives in Mijas, has travelled to Ceuta as have other relatives from Galicia.
