The Medieval Market is being
held in Casares this weekend and runs from today until Sunday. This major
tourist attraction attracts visitors from all over the Costa del Sol. The streets
of the town take on a medieval character for the three day event. The weekend’s
activities begin this afternoon with a parade and continues with street
theatre, juggling, concerts, magic shows, medieval music and the Dance of the
Fireflies which close the festival on Sunday night. During the festival the
streets will be filled with many stalls selling local produce, including food
and arts and crafts.
